The Judicial Administration has a broad administrative role. It entails, for example, speaking for the joint administration of the courts and engaging governmental authorities, mass media and others on behalf of the courts, supervising information on technical matters involving the courts, collecting and publishing statistical information about the courts and publishing their annual report, deciding the number of district court judges and other employees for each district court, issuing judges licences and organising their and other employees' continuing education.
